Notice on the use of the Wallet service
Spendesk Financial Services

This notice explains the use of the Wallet service with a Card issued by SFS SAS. No additional terms and conditions need to be validated by the User or its company when using the Wallet service.

Definitions

  • Card” refers to a physical or virtual card issued by SFS SAS;

  • SFS SAS” refers to Spendesk Financial Services, a payment institution licensed by the ACPR, as defined in Spendesk terms and conditions;

  • User” refers to the natural person using the Wallet service with a Card;

  • Wallet” refers to a service provided by a third-party provider that enables saving the Card details in a dedicated mobile application so as to carry out Card payment transactions from a mobile phone (including, but not limited to, Apple Pay and Google Payment services).

Adding and using a Card

Eligible Cards can be added to the Wallet by following the instructions of the Wallet provider. SFS SAS reserves the right to exclude certain Cards and underlying accounts from the Wallet eligibility at its own reasonable discretion. When a Card is added to the Wallet, it allows the User to perform payment transactions where the Wallet is accepted. The Wallet may not be accepted in all places where the Card is accepted.

Safety of the Card

Card details and mobile device must be kept safe by the User. When a Card is added to a device, anyone with sufficient access to the device will be able to make payment transactions using the Card.
Any security breach (e.g., unauthorised access, potential fraud) must be reported to SFS SAS as soon as possible, as described in SFS SAS terms and conditions.

Privacy

By adding a Card to the Wallet, Users are informed that SFS SAS may share Users information, including personal data, with the Wallet provider in order to provide the services requested by the User.
SFS SAS and the Wallet provider process personal data separately and on their own responsibility. Therefore, both SFS SAS and the Wallet provider act as independent data controllers. SFS SAS does not control the privacy and security of Users’ information held by the Wallet provider, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
